Henry Winkler recently shared a hilarious story about his last-minute role in Adam Sandler’s 1998 comedy The Waterboy. On Kelly Ripa’s podcast, Winkler revealed that Sandler called him at 11:30 p.m. in a panic, asking him to fill in for an actor who bailed. Winkler rushed to the set, got makeup until 3:30 a.m., and after all that, his reward? “A cookie,” Winkler joked. Despite the lack of compensation, Winkler has done three more movies with Sandler and still has nothing but love for him—except maybe his questionable fashion choices!
