Fall Trade Show and Artisan Market Nears Full Capacity, Set for Sept. 27-29
FORT MCMURRAY, Alberta — The Fall Trade Show and Artisan Market is quickly approaching, with over 90 per cent of vendor spaces already booked.
A total of 175 companies have registered for the event, including some from as far away as Jarvis, Ontario, eager to connect with Fort McMurray customers. While vendors from across Canada will gather at MacDonald Island Park from Sept. 27-29, roughly half of the participants hail from the Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo Region.
“This year’s Fall Trade Show and Artisan Market is shaping up to be another spectacular event,” said Dianna de Sousa, executive director of the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce. “We’re proud to feature approximately 50 per cent local businesses, alongside repeat exhibitors and vendors traveling all the way from Ontario.”
The event is expected to draw over 10,000 attendees, who can enjoy free samples and browse new and unique products. A special haunted house and trick-or-treating for children will also be featured on Sept. 29.
