You’re getting a chance to share your opinion about vehicle insurance.

The provincial government is launching an online survey to determine whether they need to update their current system.

Concerns have been raised about the rising cost and accessibility across the province.

A three-member committee has been tasked with overseeing the survey, gathering feedback, and eventually making recommendations to the province.

“As we review Alberta’s automobile insurance system, we are asking Albertans, service providers, and other relevant stakeholders to be part of the potential solution,” said Chris Daniel, Chair of the Automobile Insurance Advisory Committee, in a release.

“A thorough understanding of consumer and industry needs will help ensure our recommendations to the government are realistic and reflective of the marketplace as a whole.”

The survey will be up until March 6, 2020.

The committee is expected to make its recommendations to the province in June.
