Maintaining green spaces and cutting grass is still a huge priority for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo’s Parks department.
The Municipality took to social media yesterday to address resident concerns over the state of green spaces throughout the RMWB. They say rain and weather have hindered their ability to trim the tall grass, but crews expect to complete the first cycle of grounds maintenance by June 23rd. The RMWB will then continue with a bi-weekly maintenance cycle that will ensure all 475 hectares of municipal green space are mowed.
