The Canadian Cancer Society is announcing the return of CIBC’s Run for the Cure.
The event is Canada’s largest single-day, volunteer-led initiative in support of breast cancer.
The run takes place in 53 communities across the country and raises funds for world-leading research along with support programs to help people facing breast cancer live longer, fuller lives.
The event kicks off locally on October 1st at the Doug Barnes Cabin in Thickwood. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. with opening ceremonies at 9:30 a.m..
The run is entering its 27th year and has raised over $60 million to date, bringing Canadians closer to changing the future of breast cancer forever.
