According to police, on March 19, 2023, around 2:30 pm, emergency services responded to a report of human remains on a pathway along a storm pond in Prospect Point Park, where they declared her deceased upon arrival.
The RCMP say they are continuing their investigation but do not suspect foul play is involved.
No further updates are expected.
