Wood Buffalo RCMP is looking for public assistance after a gun was discharged toward the RCMP Satellite Detachment in Chipewyan Prairie First Nation.
Police say that at some point between 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 and 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 21, unknown persons fired a gun at the detachment in the community.
A single bullet entered the front window of the office.
No injuries were reported from the shot.
The matter remains under investigation by Wood Buffalo RCMP General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section.
