Flair Airlines is coming back to Fort McMurray with direct flights to Tucson, Arizona.

Beginning Nov. 30, 2022, to Mar. 22, 2023, flights will be available Sundays and Wednesdays.

The four-hour flight to Tucson is being offered at just over $100 per person and includes all taxes and fees.

“Our winter base in Tucson will allow us to provide convenient non-stop flights from Fort McMurray and marks the beginning of what will be an exciting winter tradition for Canadians looking to soak up some Arizona sun,” says Garth Lund, Chief Commercial Officer, Flair Airlines in a recent press release.

According to accuweather.com, average high temperatures in Tucson reach roughly 20 degrees Celsius.

“We are committed to further developing YMM air service offerings, not only for our residents to enjoy, but to attract tourists to Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo, supporting our regional economy and job creation,” said RJ Steenstra, Presidents & CEO, Fort McMurray Airport Authority.

The direct flight will also offer Tucson residents an affordable option to visit Fort McMurray.
