Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 continue have decreased across the province.

As of yesterday, there was a total of 1027 (-26) people in the hospital due to the virus.

ICU numbers have decreased to 236 (-6).

There are 14,218 (-1,077) active cases in Alberta, with 254 (-13) in Fort McMurray, and 6 (-3) in rural areas.

The 7 day rolling average positivity rate across the province is 8.3 per cent, meanwhile in the North Zone it is 18.9 per cent.

To date, there has been 2,901 (+38) deaths due to COVID-19, 18 of which have been in Fort McMurray and 2 in the rural areas.
