The annual Multicultural EXPO is moving forward despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo is planning to hold a month-long virtual event throughout February.

Throughout the four weeks, residents will be able to view unique videos including a youth talent show, a cultural attire showcase, as well as cultural performances including dance, song, and recipes.

The event will begin its “Welcome Week” on February 1 with a special message from Dango Gogo, Board President, followed by multi-lingual Treaty acknowledgments, and a Parade of Nations highlighting the many cultures that make up our region.
