Election results coming in and a Liberal minority Government seems likely.
Currently results from Atlantic Canada show the Liberal Party of Canada is leading or confirmed in 160 so far. Conservatives leading or elected in 148, with the Bloc’s leading or elected in 24 ridings. As of 7:20 the NDP have a lead in 10 ridings, while the Green Party holds just two seats.
Polling stations in Fort McMurray – Cold Lake have reported Conservative incumbent Lalia Goodridge leading 8734 votes to 1648 votes for Liberal rival Kaitlyn Styles with 22 polls reporting.
Polls in Quebec, Ontario, and Western Canada have closed at 7:30 p.m. and results are pouring in quickly . Polls in British Columbia are set to close at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Harvard Media News will update these numbers as the evening continues and additional polls come in.
The current question as yet to be determined is whether voters in Burnaby Central will award contraversial NDP leader, Jagmeet Singh with a renewed mandate.
