RMWB Activates Winter Maintenance Zones 3 & 4
FORT MCMURRAY, Alberta — The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) has activated its Winter Maintenance Zones (WMZ) once again. Crews will be out clearing snow from residential streets in Subzones 3 & 4 from December 9-13. On-street parking restrictions are in effect during scheduled snow-clearing days in these areas, and vehicles left parked on streets during maintenance may be ticketed and towed.
Subszones 1 and 2 are relaxed this week, but the RMWB plans on activating them for the week of December 16th.
Residents can find their designated zones and snow-clearing schedules by checking posted street signage, visiting the RMWB website, or calling The Pulse.
