Here’s one for the “unexpected bargains” file! A sweet volunteer at a UK charity shop accidentally put a pair of “door knobs” on sale for $3.60CAD . But these knobs weren’t for opening doors… unless, well, we’re talking about “back doors”! Yes, they were “his and hers” adult toys that had somehow snuck their way into the donation box!
It wasn’t until a sharp-eyed customer clued in the 70-something assistant that she realized the “unique home decor” on display wasn’t quite PG. Blushing harder than a sunburned Brit, she yanked them off the shelf faster than you can say “awkward.” A younger staffer took one look and promptly dropped the classic British line, “OH MY GOD!”
