Dancing Ghost and Pumpkin Spread Halloween Safety Advice on Social Media

RMWB Promotes Halloween Safety with Fun Social Media Campaign

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) is spreading safe Halloween tips through a humorous social media video featuring a dancing ghost and a pumpkin-headed municipal employee.

Set to catchy, spooktacular music, the playful characters remind children to wear bright, high-visibility clothing and carry glow sticks or stickers to ensure they’re easily seen in the dark. The ghost, dressed in a bed sheet, encourages kids to consider using makeup instead of masks to avoid impaired vision. The duo also demonstrates the importance of looking both ways before crossing the street.

The creative campaign has already garnered thousands of views and is being shared across multiple platforms, as the RMWB wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable Halloween. You can find the fun video on the RM’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
