A long time coming from the world of John Wick. Ana De Armas stars in Ballerina, and the first trailer has just arrived.

Admittedly this trailer is fairly skin-deep, but if you’re really in it for the incredible action and stunt work the franchise has become synonymous with, there seems to be everything you’re after in spades in this movie. This movie was greenlit with De Armas starring at around the time we met her Bond-girl persona Paloma in “No Time To Die”. That movie was a proving ground for her stunt work expertise, but also barely had her on screen for more than a few scenes – leaving fans wanting more. This appears to be that more. Plus we have confirmation that John Wick — Baba Yaga himself — will be making an appearance. One that I hope will be more than a glorified cameo. We’ll find out on June 6th, 2025 when Ballerina hits theatres.
