FORT MCMURRAY, Alberta — Alberta Health Services will hold an information session on Indigenous well-being at Community Health Services on Thickwood Boulevard. The event is scheduled for Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
The session will feature health professionals available to discuss topics such as pregnancy, childbirth, early childhood development, sexual health, and healthy living. Local Indigenous health services will also be covered. Representatives from various community organizations will be present to provide additional information and resources.
The event is part of a broader effort to support the health and well-being of Indigenous communities in the region.
