An Irish man named Lorcan has been telling the story of how he came face to face with Dave Grohl in the middle of nowhere while wearing a Nirvana t-shirt for YEARS. Few if any friends believed him. That has since been corrected, thanks to a story told by Foo Fighters frontman Grohl himself. The clip of Dave’s story is from a couple of years ago, but Lorcan only caught the clip a couple of weeks ago. Take a look at the inter-cut from Spin just below.

This entire story conjures up “what if?” thoughts of what might have happened if Dave and Lorcan hadn’t shared a passing moment 30 years ago. Would we still have the Foo Fighters? Would the music have been the same? Who knows. The world is a strange place, both huge and small.
