The RMWB is mourning the sudden passing of Councillor Jane Stroud.

Mayor Sandy Bowman issued a statement on the matter, saying that as a proud Anzac resident, the causes, projects, and programs she brought to the forefront are too lengthy to mention, adding that it is with certainty that Councillor Stroud cannot be replaced.

Stroud was first elected in 2010 and served the communities of Anzac, Conklin, Gregoire Lake Estates, and Janvier.

Flags at the RMWB Municipal Building will fly at half-mast in her memory.
