Award-winning Indigenous author Richard Van Camp is scheduled to visit Fort McMurray.

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) will host the acclaimed writer on June 19 at Landmark Cinemas from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. where he will participate in a book and film review of “Three Feathers“.

The work narrates the story of three young men returning to their community after nine months of living off the land as part of a restorative justice program. Van Camp will also read his children’s book, “Little You“, at the Wood Buffalo Public Library’s Mom and Tot gathering on June 20 at 10 a.m.
