A Lac La Biche man is facing charges for over 15 offenses following his arrest on Sunday.
Darren Cadieux (48) was taken into custody after RCMP responded to a weapons complaint, leading to search warrants on two homes in the town.
While executing the warrants, police discovered four firearms, a significant amount of ammunition, and what they describe only as a “prohibited device.”
Cadieux is facing:
- Two counts of Uttering threats
- Resisting Arrest
- Two counts of Unsafe storage of a firearm
- Three counts of Possession weapon contrary to court order
- Defacing the serial number on a firearm
- Possession of a prohibited device
- Six counts of Breach of Conditional Sentence Order
Cadieux remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for March 18th.
