Warm weather is on the way, bringing changes to the Fort Chipewyan and La Loche winter roads.

Beginning Saturday, March 9, vehicles over 5,000 kg will be restricted to nighttime travel only. That means heavy vehicles can only travel the route between 10 p.m. and 10 a.m.

The roads will remain open to light passenger vehicles day and night.

Drivers are reminded to be cautious, as posted signage may not be in place for every hazard along the routes.
