The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo is heralding the success of the weekend’s Monster Truck Nitro Tour.

To a nearly packed house monster trucks brought car-crushing mayhem to Shell Place on Friday and Saturday.

Fans were also thrilled by the high-flying antics and soaring jumps of the freestyle motocross bikes which flew across the temporary dirt turf at the stadium.

“We are so incredibly thankful to all the community members who came out to enjoy the shows this weekend,” said Kelly Dela Ronde, Director of Marketing and Community Engagement for the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo.

“The excitement of the crowd was contagious as the Monster Truck Nitro Tour presented by BURNCO took over the field.”

As the dust clears and the dirt track is removed from Shell Place, the Monster Truck Nitro Tour heads to its next event in Logan, Utah.
