A local Gospel music sensation is now up for three national awards.
Katie Williams is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Worship song of the Year.
The Gospel Music Association of Canada has begun the first round of voting for their annual Covenant Awards celebrating Christian faith-based music.
Williams’ recent single First Love has racked up over 13,000 views on YouTube in four months. She followed that success with a new single, Pour Out, released on August 4th.
With numerous artists also in the running, Williams says she won’t know if she makes the top five for a few more weeks.
The 43rd annual Covenant Awards are being held from November 17th to 19th in Kitchener-Waterloo.
