If you’re planning a trip to Tucson this winter, you’ll no longer have the option to take a direct flight from Fort McMurray.

Jessica Lipton, who manages Marketing and Communications at the Fort McMurray International Airport, has verified that Flair Airlines won’t be resuming their seasonal flights from YMM to Tucson.

This situation is not unique to Fort McMurray, as Flair has decided to discontinue flights to Tuscon from five other Canadian airports as well.

Lipton says the team at the Fort McMurray International Airport is actively working with Flair and other airlines to explore possibilities for Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo residents to conveniently access sunny destinations this winter through YMM.

Flair Airlines did not respond back for a request to comment on the cancellation.
