The Fort McMurray Airport Authority is launching its first ever YMM Volunteer Program.
The program is part of the Airport’s effort to create a positive experience for passengers traveling through the Fort McMurray International Airport.
Through this initiative, volunteers will be trained to support passengers by providing flight information, offering directions, and answering questions commonly arising during the passenger journey.
“The YMM Volunteer Program is part of our ongoing commitment to offer the best passenger experience possible,” says FMAA’s President and CEO Denean Robinson.
The Airport Authority says the opportunity can support individuals in building their resume, socializing, or staying active during retirement years.
Volunteers will get free parking, free admission to YMM special events, and exclusive Team YMM discounts.
Residents are invited to apply to become a Volunteer through the airport’s website. A criminal record check and in-person orientation are mandatory for those interested in participating in the program.
