The RMWB is inviting you to their Community Investment Program (CIP) information sessions later this month.

Individuals and organizations interested in learning about the CIP are invited to attend one of two events at Jubilee Centre on Aug. 9 and Aug. 16.

The Municipal Council has recently approved an updated Community Investment Policy, which offers financial support to groups and organizations.

The policy aims to enhance efficiency and eliminate service duplication, ensuring that grant approvals align with Council’s strategic priorities.

The RMWB says the updated policy is a result of a comprehensive review of the Community Investment Program, adding the Community Investment Program Advisory Committee (CIPAC) and administration worked with Deloitte to identify best practices in municipal grant programs, which are reflected in the updated policy.

Expert representatives will be available during the information sessions to discuss the program’s changes.
