ATCO Electricity is reporting a power outage in Fort McMurray.

They are reporting the affected areas as Beacon Hill, Gregoire, Downtown, Timberlea, and other surrounding areas.

ATCO says the outage is currently under investigation, and the cause of the outage is currently being assessed.

They say the outage is affecting roughly 3,411 customers in the area.

The estimated time for restoration is 2 p.m.
