Boyle RCMP is arresting a 41-year-old man on numerous drug charges.

On April 1st, the RCMP located a vehicle leaving a residence in the Athabasca region.

The Police noticed the license plate attached to the vehicle was stolen, and the driver had outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Allan James Steidel of Alberta Beach is facing three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, failure to comply with a release order, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5000.

Upon investigation, the RCMP seized 929 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 55 grams of suspected cocaine, 15 grams of suspected cannabis, 13 grams of suspected heroin, 3.30 ounces of gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB), and various drug paraphernalia.

Steidel was remanded into custody following an interim judicial release hearing.
