The Father Mercredi Robotics team is on its way to the VEX World Championships in Robotics in Dallas this spring.
The team is back from a big win at the Mecha Mayhem tournament in Calgary. There, they were part of a winning alliance that cruised straight through the round-robin and went on to win the Division finals.
“Mecha Mayhem was an incredible experience,” says Farther Mercredi robotics coach Carson Creighton.
“To be able to get to the Worlds at an international event leaves me speechless.”
The team will still compete at the Alberta Provincial tournament in the spring, but they do so knowing that their invitation to the World Championships is secure.
