A lone male broke into a Staples last Monday and stole over $3000 worth of electronics.

Local Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to multiple alarms at 3:34 a.m. at 8544 Manning Avenue where the culprit had forced his way in and stole several laptops and cellular devices.

Police have few physical descriptions to go off as the man was wearing full cover, but say he was somewhere between 5’9 and 5’11 in height.

RCMP are investigating with the assistance from the Forensic Identification Section.

Officers are asking people to be wary of what you purchase online as there is the possibility, he may try to sell some of the stolen property on various websites or in the community.

The laptops the individual may be trying to sell are:

• Acer Spin 3
• HP Laptop
• MSI GF63 THIN 10SC
• Asus X509J

If you believe you may have purchased stolen property, contact your local RCMP as soon as possible.
