The Santa Claus parade is returning to Fort McMurray.

The annual Christmas parade will follow the same drive thru format as last year with floats parked in a line throughout the parking lot at MacDonald Island Park.

Organizations are invited to register a float until November 19th, with a theme of “holiday movies” encouraged.

Spectator signups will open for free on November 26th and a half hour each day before opening will be reserved for sensory friendly parade options.

The parade will take place December 4 from 5 to 9pm and December 5th from 4:30 to 8pm.
