Customers whose service with Canada Post was interrupted by the flood can now pick up their mail in Gregoire.
The mail delivery service has moved their operations to a temporary facility at 250 MacKay Crescent.
Those who had a postal box at Rivercity Shoppers Drug Mart, Clearwater Sobeys or Canada Post on Reidel Street are now able to pick up their mail on certain days.
The delivery service has announced a staggered pick up plan, in order to comply with social distancing guidelines, allowing customers on to retrieve their mail based on their last initial.
People with last names beginning with A to F can pickup their mail on Monday and Wednesday, G to M Tuesday and Friday, and N to Z on Thursday and Saturday.
The new location will operate from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday and will prioritize their first hour of service for seniors and those with compromised immune systems.
Canada Post is also offering flood victims free mail forwarding for 12 months if signed up for by May 30, 2020.
