A 38-year-old man is being charged with assault after a confrontation in a downtown business.
On March 24, around 7:30 p.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP were called to Hospital Street near Gordon Avenue.
A man had entered the business and reportedly assaulted an employee after a discussion about returning an item.
The worker didn’t suffer any physical injuries.
After a call out to the public, they were able to identify the individual as Andreas Kesselring.
He was arrested on April 8 and charged with assault.
Kesselring is set to make his next court appearance at the Fort McMurray Provincial Courthouse on June 10, 2020.
