The 2022 Arctic Winter Games are on the hunt for their next mascot.
Until May 15, kids from ages 5 to 12 are invited to submit their ideas to the ‘Design The Mascot’ contest by the RMWB Host Society.
“The Mascot of the 2022 Arctic Winter Games is a very important part of not only the Games themselves but all the events leading up to the Games” stated Kim Rizzi, General Manager of the Wood Buffalo 2022 Arctic Winter Games, in a release.
The contest asks entrants to focus their entry on the winter season, while also using the games’ colours, and creating a character of either a buffalo, raven, lynx or beaver.
The winner will receive a 2022 Arctic Winter Games prize pack and get to be the guest of honour at the Mascot reveal party.
More information can be found on the Arctic Winter Games Facebook page.
