Three New COVID-19 Cases in Wood Buffalo

There are three new cases of COVID-19 in Wood Buffalo.

The province announced on Sunday 69 new cases across Alberta which sets the total at 1,250.

The GoA says 919 cases are 100 per cent confirmed while 331 are probable cases.

Fort McMurray has one additional case, bringing the total to four, while the other two cases are outside of the urban service area.

No more information about these individuals is known at this time.

There are a total of 77 cases across the north zone.

The others are in High Prairie, Slave Lake, Barrhead, Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Grande Prairie, Jasper, Hinton, Westlock, Peace River, High Level, and Valleyview.

Meanwhile, there are three more deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total to 23 across the province.

Also, 152 cases are believed to be from community transmission

As for the recovered, 279 individuals no longer have the virus.
