Men across the region will be bringing out their inner 80’s child for a good cause.

The Canadian Mental Health Association of Wood Buffalo is looking for participants for their 2020 March Mullet Campaign.

The event started in Barrie, Ontario as a way to encourage men to reach out for help and start a conversation.

Multiple studies and statistics have found that four out of every five suicides across Canada are committed by males.

People who sign up would be asked to get the 80’s haircut, promote the importance of ending the stigma around mental health, and help raise funds for the non-profit.

They’re also being encouraged to highlight their journey on social media.
