The annual Stuff-A-Bus toy drive was a huge success across Wood Buffalo.
Last week, multiple buses went around the community gathering toys from businesses who were collecting the presents for the past month.
In the end, four buses were filled with donations for Santas Anonymous, a non-profit organization out of Father Mercredi High School.
“The spirit of Christmas is alive and well in Wood Buffalo,” said Annette LeBrun, Stuff-A-Bus Coordinator, in a release.
“Thanks to the generosity of community members, we more than doubled the amount of donations from last year making this our biggest year yet! Together, we have helped Santas Anonymous provide hundreds of gifts to families and children across the region.”
A total of 75 businesses and organizations took part in this year’s event, an increase from the 48 from 2018.
Volunteers with Santas Anonymous are now wrapping the gifts and plan to deliver them on Friday.
