The Housing Market was a little busier this past November compared to last year.

That’s according to the Fort McMurray REALTORS November report which says 37 homes sold last month, compared to 30 in November of 2018.

However, the average price is down from last year, with single-family detached homes being sold for an average of just over $527,186.

That’s an eight per cent decrease from last year’s average of over $573,625.

The realtors say the biggest changes from last year was townhouse, apartment, and mobiles with land sales.

They note they saw double the amount of sales in those categories when compared to the same time last year.

Meanwhile, there are 306 properties currently on the market, up slightly from 2018’s total of 293.

There was also a slight decrease in the number of properties sold compared to the previous month, but the realtors say this is quite normal for this time of year.
