A structure fire has destroyed a property owned by Keyano College.

The post-secondary institution says the blaze broke out on Wednesday around 9 p.m. on an industrial lot adjacent to Highway 69.

The fire was contained to just one of 32 lots in the area.

The property, owned by the College Land Trust Corporation, was used by Robby’s Towing.

In an email sent to Mix News, the municipality says the structure was a total loss and no one was injured in the blaze.

They add Regional Emergency Services have cleared the area and have turned the scene over to Wood Buffalo RCMP who are investigating the cause.
