You’re getting a chance to recognize homes and businesses aimed at beautifying the community.

Wood Buffalo Communities in Bloom is launching their annual Nominate your Neighbour and Business Beautification programs.

The programs are aimed at encouraging homeowners or business owners with storefronts to celebrate the season through festive decorations.

“Nominate Your Neighbour and the Business Beatification Program are great ways to showcase homeowners and business owners, as they go above and beyond to bring some holiday cheer to their neighbourhoods,” said Joanne Fisher, Wood Buffalo Communities in Bloom committee member, in a release.

Interested businesses can sign up for the beautification program before the Santa Claus Parade on December 7. An online vote will be held in early 2020 to determine Wood Buffalo’s most festive local business.

Communities in Bloom will accept nominations for the neighbour program up until December 15.
