You’re getting a chance to face some of your deepest fears to help raise money for a good cause.
Father Mercredi is putting on their annual Haunted House this week with proceeds going towards their Santas Anonymous Program.
Head Leader for Santas Anonymous Anna Dolling tells Mix News having more events like this ensure they can help more families during the holidays.
“Our goal is to help out the less fortunate people in our community, especially school aged children, and provide those families with a memorable Christmas.”
Last year, they helped around 500 families.
The program has been running since 1984, providing toys for children and hampers filled with food and other items to local families.
This is the first year they’ve used their Haunted House to raise funds for the program.
“I feel like it was just a really good opportunity to start are campaign early and kind of add Halloween into Santas,” added Dolling.
People can go through the Haunted House on October 29 and 30 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. and on October 31 from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
It’s being held in Father Mercredi’s cafeteria.
