The municipality is once again looking to lend a helping hand to organizations and residents across the region.

The RMWB is now accepting applications for their annual grant opportunities offered through their Community Investment Program.

These grants are aimed to help non-profits and athletes or performers competing at provincial, national or international competitions.

Organizations can apply for the Community Impact Grant which provides funding for programs or projects aimed at contributing to the community, as well as new and reoccurring events.

Non-profits can receive up to $100,000 for certain projects, up to $20,000 for events, and up to $50,000 for new events.

Meanwhile, athletes and performers can apply for the Games Legacy Grant which offers up to $1,500 for an individual and up to $3,000 for a group.

The deadline to apply is September 23, 2019, at 4:30 p.m.
